Do you remember the television commercials
a number of years ago promoting the theme ‘Reach Out and
Touch Someone?’ The commercials were an advertising spiel
cooked up by the phone company geared toward boosting sales of
phone service. In more recent years, the gimmick is of a man traveling
the globe with a cell phone to his ear asking the question “Can
you hear me now? The commercials are quite innovative.
Whether using land lines or a cell phone, the
obvious reasoning behind it all is to oversee and improve the
vast communication network that encircles the globe. Communication,
regardless of the mode, is the central core to living. It is
really mind boggling when you think about it. These days if
you don’t own a cell phone, you might be considered ‘out
of the loop.’
Let’s briefly examine the wondrous thing
we know as communication. The general consensus by definition
is to ‘reach out and touch someone,’ and to communicate
with someone other than ourselves. In other words, we certainly
don’t pick up the cell phone to call our self. Sure, we
sometimes openly talk and even argue with ourselves, but what
we are referring to here is reaching within ourselves to open
new channels of communication. Let’s have a dialogue with
our self so that we can get to know our self more intimately.
Let us therefore, take this idea of communication a step further.
Our motto is;
'Reach In and Touch Someone'
Reach In and Touch Someone, starting with touching
yourself. Believe it or not, you can also reach in and touch
others, but first there is someone with whom you need to get
to know better. Who is that someone? That someone is you! Reach
in and Touch Your Spirit. Get in touch with yourself and your
spirit. Communicate with your spirit. Communicate with your
soul. Begin a friendship. You will then begin to touch and connect
with others like you never thought possible. Your spirit is
without boundaries and reaches out to touch others no matter
where they are. You do not have to be in close physical proximity
with others to make connections. During meditation, prayer,
sleep, dreams, visions, or anytime, your mind is constantly
connecting.
Sound a bit far fetched. It’s not. When
you begin the process of reaching inward to touch the soul,
intuitive senses sharpen, awareness expands and your perspective
of reality becomes much more clear. Something else also happens.
You tap into the communication network of spirit. Invisible
and intangible, there are no wires, satellites or radio waves.
Communication occurs through the linking of consciousness. Though
humans and have been communicating with entities of the spirit
world via the direct conscious interlinking mode for eons, this
is not our focus for this particular class. Our focus is improving
communicating with ourselves first and then branching outward
to communicate with others.
The first step in opening our inner channels
of communication is to clear the cobwebs from your internal
wiring system and your soul will oversee this entire process.
All that’s required is an open minded receptive approach
to the endeavor and a great deal of patience because it is slow
going. It is all part of the process of building our new home
of spiritual proportion. Needless to say, however, there is
much cleaning and cleansing of your internal faculties involved.
The more clearly you are able to communicate with yourself,
(your soul and spirit), the more clearly you can reach out to
touch others. Improved communication really occurs through a
light that shines from within you. The light is your spiritual
essence that grows brighter each day.
You see, there is something we have been forgetting
to do for a very long time and that is to ‘call home.’
‘Calling home’ means calling to God to help us get
started on the path home. You do want to go home don’t
you? We have been neglecting this duty virtually since we have
been in physical existence, but we’ve surely had fun being
out on our own away from the House of God. God has called us
on numerous occasions, but we haven’t heard the call.
We’ve been deeply mired in a conditioned perception of
reality that seems somewhat restricted to physical clothes and
materialistic possessions. The call is very subtle, a nearly
silent tone which requires reaching deeply within ourselves
to hear.
Let’s face it. Utilizing nonverbal internal communication
means is a radical change from what we are used to. Therefore,
we’d want to learn the process slowly. But what if we
didn’t have that luxury? For example, what would your
reaction be if communication systems were suddenly disrupted?
This has already happened, but it has pretty much remained isolated
to local areas. What if it were to happen on a global scale?
There would then instantly arise an ‘overcoming the fear’
aspect of not being able to communicate instantly utilizing
conventional devices. Though this may sound frightening, the
disruption would also give rise to the positive side of fear,
which is having faith that your family and friends are all right,
wherever they are and whatever they are doing. This my friends,
is what placing faith in God and your own spirit is all about.
In retrospect, when you reach within yourself
you begin, on a subconscious level of your being, to connect
with people. People you already know you will come to know better.
People you don’t know will begin springing into your life.
Good things will begin to happen in your life. You will also
know things prior to them happening which is a good indication
that your internal system is tapping directly into the invisible
communication network of the Holy Spirit.
The cell phone will still very much play a role,
only it will be a role of confirmation that your internal intuitive
guidance system is functioning as it should. Phone conversations
will confirm through verbal interaction something of which you
have prior insight through dreams, visions or you will simply
‘know’ intuitively.
Is it possible to function on a planet with
no visible means of communication? Is it possible to effectively
communicate across vast portions of the globe solely through
telepathy? Not in the foreseeable future, but remember one thing.
With God, all things are possible. Besides, telephone poles
are the biggest eyesores on the face of the planet. Electrical
transmission towers are also, but we’ll discuss that later
when we get into environmental concerns and renewable energy.
