The hardest arithmetic to master is that
which enables us to count our blessings.

If you haven’t any charity in your heart,
you have the worst kind of heart trouble.

Mission of the University of Spirituality

The University of Spirituality is an informational resource dedicated to two major causes. The first cause is educating humanity on the most important quality we each have. That quality is each person’s individual spirituality. The individual spirit is a well spring of unrealized potential. We merely need to be educated on how to tap into its great resources. The second cause we are dedicated to is the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven upon the Earth. Education comes first and this is accomplished through the University of Spirituality. As each person develops his or her spirituality according to Universal Principle, the fog begins to clear for ushering in an age of peace, anchoring of the Kingdom of Heaven upon the Earth, and bringing about the unification of all peoples. The second cause is a direct reflection of the first. The two causes are intricately related and revolve around a central theme. The theme is “The Master Within, Building Our New Home Within the House of God.” This is a course designed to provide the student with guidance on individual spiritual development. The end result is the eventual Mastery of oneself and Building His or Her New Home Within the House of God. Each person’s home that is built adds to the greater construction process of building the Kingdom of Heaven upon the Earth. Each home also comprises a piece of the University of Spirituality. We would, therefore, like to think of the University of Spirituality as:

The Place Where You Find Your Home
Within the House of God

The University of Spirituality does not consist of a single faith, religion, sect or creed. It is Universal in its application because the individual Spirit is universal, unattached and serves the will of God in a non biased and non discriminatory service of goodwill. Universal understanding and acceptance of the nature of God encourages right human relations and brings about true peace on Earth. We would emphasize here that regardless of what you think, Christ is not going to return to Earth until such time as right relations are established between peoples and not just specific groups. He is not returning to establish peace, but to show humanity how to establish peace for itself. The key to understanding right human relations can only begin with forming right relations with yourself through your own spirit, hence the great need for the University of Spirituality.

The University of Spirituality is a movement that establishes a new train of thought for religions and spiritual seekers of today. Many people find the need to associate religion, God and worship with a particular place. That place may be a church, temple, synagogue, or whatever type of structure that provides special meaning to the earnest seeker of truth. This is fine, however, it is not necessary to develop your individual spirituality. The University of Spirituality is not an actual place, but rather a concept. The concept is a step in the future of religion, spirituality and the nature of the Church itself. The internal organizational structure of a church operates through the beliefs, values and practices of all individual members. The church is an outward expression of the collective energies of its members. Most religions began through the idea of one individual and grew from there. Would it not make sense then that the root of the church is imbedded within the individual? The individual human spirit, therefore, contains the essence of the true church. The human heart, mind and body are the true temples of God. Respect and worship the spirit of God that lies within you, more so than you value your most prized possessions. Structures made of stone and mortar will eventually crumble away, however, the spirit is eternal and exists in any environment in any capacity. The spirit is the true form of the Word of God. What’s the saying? One day the Earth may pass away, but my word will never pass away.

The growing interest in meditation shows that communion can be practiced wherever you are. The premise behind The University of Spirituality is that you do not have to be present in a physical structure or congregation to receive the bountiful gifts that God has to offer. You only need open your heart, for this is where your true place of worship resides. One of the main places in a church is the altar, but the true altar is the human heart. The idea is to establish your own living room as your altar, place of communion and place of learning. The University of Spirituality may be invisible and intangible, yet its effects will transform your life. You can attend this church anytime and anywhere. You merely have to attune your thoughts to the Love of God.

Sound a bit confusing? One of our students, Dunbar, can be seen from time to time banging his head on the wall out of confusion and frustration. He sometimes has difficulty grasping this stuff. If you find the concept of learning through telepathy as well as some of the other concepts we will cover a bit overwhelming, please, don’t worry about it. Educating and developing yourself about spiritually is a gradual process. This new mode of telepathic learning in silence requires an open-mindeded receptiveness, discipline, persistence, perseverance and above all, patience. You have and utilize these qualities already and undertaking this course in spiritual development, you will build upon them further. You will build upon them merely by opening yourself up to the wondrous inspirational energy of the greatest teacher ever. That teacher is the one who created you.

Our mission or 'Vision Statement' at a glance:

To present spiritual values and spiritual responsibility, as well as help students develop their self spiritually, thereby adding to the collective whole to bring the invisible Kingdom of God into visible manifestation and expression.

To pull from both audiences, church goers and non church goers
alike to help individuals discover that we are all under the same roof,
regardless of where you make your place of worship.

To show that the perceived differences between prayer
and meditation reside only in individual perception.

To help people understand that The Place Where We Find Our Home Within the House of God is closer to us than anything we knew before.
Our Home within God is within us.

To help bridge the gap among all peoples of the Earth. This begins first with bridging the gap between individuals. When the gap between individual people is bridged, the larger gap will begin to close. Borders between nations will slowly diminish. Churches and religions will open the doors of their established belief patterns to adopt and embrace new ways of education concerning God, and most important, the concept of individual spirituality.

To demonstrate that all spiritual leaders, messiahs and saints have provided a very similar message. The message only differs in the way
it is expressed according to the style and personality of the messenger.

To help individuals follow their own heart, which is where the root of individual spiritual development begins. We have a tendency to lean too heavily on another person’s ideals instead of using them as a guide from which to allow our own spiritual path to emerge. Too often we choose to follow someone else instead of following our own inner voice.
