The University of Spirituality is a proponent of positive change in a world that has largely forgotten its roots. We seek to advance spirituality oriented education to enlighten and encourage prospective students to learn what the basic fundamentals of life experience are all about. Through a combination of prayer, meditation, spiritually oriented exercises and a lengthy study of the ‘self,’ memories are sparked and the spiritual essence of the individual is slowly revealed and rediscovered. The framework for this endeavor is already housed in the individual soul. Our task is to help bring out what is already there.

Bringing about positive and peaceful change in the world is a collaborative effort that occurs slowly one step at a time with each individual. If you are interested in finding a peaceful, heightened awareness within yourself. If you are interested in better understanding the cycle of life. If you are interested in having questions answered as to why you are here, what is your genuine purpose and what really makes you tick. If you are interested in engaging in a building process that will take you far beyond what you think you know about things. If these questions arose your curiosity, then you have come to the right place.

The University of Spirituality is a wee bit different than the average school sought after in regards to educational discipline. You might say it is a place to attend when other options have been exhausted and you are searching for a new philosophy to help stimulate thinking outside the box. It is a place to retreat from the ever growing and seeming unwarranted complexities of society. It is a place where you find simplicity because you begin to know yourself more intimately.

When understood and applied in proper context, spirituality is the most important quality that we all have. What’s more important, it is a quality that you have. It’s natural, free and activated by the simple desire to know and discover mysteries about yourself that are hidden closer than you could ever imagine. The discovery and nurturing of your Individual Spirituality may, for all intents and purposes, be the most profound discovery you ever make.

Spirituality, quite simply, is the newly discovered awareness of an energy source within us and acting intuitively on that source to enhance internal motivation and drive to succeed. Existing character attributes mature, new attributes surface and pipe dreams no longer remain in the realm of unrealized possibilities. In this respect, spirituality is an art form that is uniquely expressed by and through each individual in a personal way. In short, spirituality helps us to be the best that we can be.

If this is your first visit to the University of Spirituality Web Site, please be aware of some pertinent information before embarking on your exploration. Perceptual awareness is the key ingredient in the process of spiritual enfoldment and self-realization. Therefore, we’d like to plant a seed of perception so that you have at least a general idea of ‘where you are’ when moving from one area to another while exploring the inner halls of the University. There are basically two main areas or ‘layers’ to the School. The first layer consists of the familiarization classes which you are attending now. The first layer also includes the homepage, introduction and the University Preview (flowchart). The first layer is considered just inside the University doors and is designed help the seeker of higher learning decide whether he or she would like to progress further based on the spiritual concepts presented.

The second layer of the University of Spirituality begins with the newcomers’ orientation located in the auditorium. After attending the newcomers’ orientation and resonating with the material presented, you are certainly free to penetrate deeper into the University by attending the Hallway of Higher Learning, The Chamber of Self-Reflection and the various other departments and areas.

It is recommended that you visit the familiarization classroom links in sequential order, from top to bottom, on the familiarization menu prior to attending the newcomer orientation. Links to the next class can be found at the bottom of each page after you have completed reading it. Once again, the familiarization classes will give you a taste of the subject material and what the University of Spirituality is all about.

There are also links to all areas of the site incorporated into the University Flow Chart exhibited on the Preview Page. These links are geared for people who are returning to the site and have walked the hallways before. They are familiar with the University and know exactly where they want to go.

The University of Spirituality is ‘new’ and since the spiritual development process is one of a slow but steady construction process, so is this site. Some of the areas are under construction and still in the idea stage. Be patient and manifestation will take place. In the meantime, please enjoy what we have to offer thus far.

We’ve included artwork to accentuate the subject material. Artwork is a most profound example of spiritual inspiration and creative vision at its best. We’d also like to convey the message that the classroom of learning need not be confined to a room. Whatever you can envision and wherever you desire to project yourself is an integral part of learning to tap into the unchartered potential of the mind. We have included a variety of inspirational quotes and song lyrics throughout this site. These quotes and song lyrics are from a variety of individuals from all walks of life and demonstrate inspiration flows through everyone who is open and mindful of receiving the gifts of Divine Mind. We also wish to emphasize that it is of little importance who is being quoted. What is important is that the quotes are ultimately an example of Divine inspiration coming through to all who are open.

Spiritually orientated knowledge can be as diverse as any other type of knowledge. Concepts, ideas and opinions about a given area of interest are rooted in the perception and value of the author. The interpretation of the knowledge can vary significantly from reader to reader which is what makes us unique as individuals. The teachings presented here are deeply entrenched in fundamental, universal principles that apply and are essential to all seekers of spiritual truth. There is a method and process by which a human can establish his or her relationship with God. Our task is to help anchor that method and expedite the process within the framework of your existing perceptual reality. How you go about this is completely up to you.

The writings on this site serve as an introduction for the course entitled The Master Within-Building Our New Home Within the House of God. The material taught herein is progressive. The more you read, the deeper the material reaches. The more times you read it, the deeper it gets. One reason for this is because presumably you are engaging in homework along with reading. Homework includes prayer, meditation and spiritually oriented exercises that helps to open hidden cavities within you so that the light and love of the Holy Spirit can illuminate the darkened areas that have permeated those cavities for so long. After awhile, it is not so much the reading, but the light and love of the Holy Spirit confirming to you on a deep level of your being things that you already know.

For some of you the material herein will perhaps be foreign territory. Foreign territory has the tendency to become familiar territory when you approach the matter with an open mind, receptive heart and simply allow a new friendship to take place. Remember that you are embarking on a project to construct your new home of spiritual dimension and eventually create a new reality all your own. Existing barriers remain standing only by a close minded and unwilling approach to receive the glorious gifts that God has to offer you. The choice is and always shall be yours.
